Ride Intensity Rating: Thrill

Description: Get ready for the most unique ride experience at Funtown Splashtown USA. This one-of-a-kind attraction combines the speed of the Scrambler Ride with a great music and a laser light show all while being inside of a dome!

The song played in the Astrosphere is “Fire On High” by E.L.O.: Electric Light Orchestra.

Safety Requirements:

• 48-inches tall to ride alone.
• 38-inches tall to ride with a guest over 48-inches.
• The larger guest must sit on the outside.
• The safety strap must be able to buckle around the guests who are riding.

Do not Ride if you have ANY of the following:

• Back, neck or heart conditions.
• You are pregnant.
• You have had recent surgery.
• You are epileptic.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit next to Astro’s Restaurant. Notify Team Member at entrance first.
• Must be able to step up, in and then down into the seat.

• This ride plays very loud music.

Casino

Ride Intensity Rating: Moderate

Description: Whether you bet on black or red, odds are this ride will make your head spin!

Safety Requirements:

• 42-inches tall to ride alone.
• 38-inches tall to ride with a guest over 42-inches.
• The larger guest must sit on the outside.

Dragon’s Descent

Ride intensity rating: Thrill

Description: Nothing prepares you for the breath-taking, accelerated drop that is ‘beyond free fall’ and the negative ‘G’ experience that comes with the Dragon’s Descent. The 220-foot tall turbo drop tower is the tallest attraction in Northern New England, and provides unique panoramic views from every angle, unseen anywhere in Southern Maine!

Safety Requirements:

• Must be 48-inches to ride.
• The safety strap must be able to be buckled. No belt extensions available.
• Must be able to fit with shoulder harness buckling.
• Riders must sit in an upright position and control seated posture.

Do not Ride if You have any of the Following:

• Back, neck or heart conditions.
• You are pregnant.
• You’ve had recent surgery.
• Afraid of heights.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit. Notify exit Team Member first.
• Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading. Must be able to hop up and into the seat.
• This is a freefall ride with top to bottom forces.

Excalibur Roller Coaster

Ride intensity rating: Thrill

Description: The last time a wooden roller coaster was built in Maine was 1938. That coaster burned to the ground 10 years later and was never rebuilt. In 1998, Maine finally got a new wooden roller coaster when Excalibur began running through the woods of Funtown Splashtown USA. This is the largest and tallest coaster in the state’s history, and the largest in Northern New England.

Safety Requirements:

• The rider must be 48-inches or taller.
• The safety strap must be able to be properly buckled in order to ride.
• Must be able to fit in the seat belt with a maximum of 1 extension belt.
• Must be able to fit with the lap bar clicking at least 2 times.
• All headgear must be removed.

Do not Ride if You have any of the Following:

• Back, neck or heart conditions.
• You are pregnant.
• You’ve had recent surgery.
• Afraid of heights.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit. Notify the Team Members before entering.
• If sitting in the first or last seat of the train, one ride will be permitted. Then, you may move to another seat if you want to stay on the ride.
• Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Must be able step down and into the seat
• Riders must sit in an upright position and control seated posture.
• Riders must keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times.
• This ride has front to back and side to side forces.
• For emergency exiting, you may need to navigate down the narrow and steep lift hill walkway or the narrow brake run walkway.

Flying Trapeze

Ride Intensity Rating: Moderate

Description: ‘Fly’ into the sunset on our ‘Flying Trapeze’ swing attraction! This ride is always a fan favorite as the 360 degree view is incredible.

Safety Requirements:

• Must be 42-inches or taller to ride.
• The safety strap must be able to buckle.

• You are pregnant.
• You’ve had recent surgery.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit. Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Must be able to hop up and into the seat.
• Riders must sit in an upright position and control seated posture.
• Do not swing or rock the seat.
• Do not twist in the seat.
• Do not attempt to touch or hang onto the other seats.
• This ride has top to bottom and side to side forces.

Grand Prix Racers

Ride Intensity Rating: Moderate

Description: Think you have what it takes to be our number one racer? Race around our track and see if you have the skills to beat out all the other racers!

Safety Requirements:

• Must be 58-inches or taller to ride by yourself.
• 42-inches to under 58-inches tall to be a passenger.
• No two Guests over 58” can ride together.
• The seat belt must be able to buckle, ONE additional seat belt extension is allowed for use.
• Long Hair must be tucked into your shirt.
• No headgear allowed.
• Two rides are included per day on the day of visit upon admission. Although a rider may meet the safety requirements listed above, to be able to drive a Grand Prix Racer alone, you must be capable of operating a self-controlled motor vehicle. For safety reasons, management reserves the right to decide who can and cannot drive a Grand Prix Racer.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit.
• Driver must have full body control and be mentally capable of operating a self controlled motor vehicle on an open track.
• Must have use of both legs/feet (gas/brake.) in order to drive.
• Passengers must fit safely in the passenger seat (will be determined by staff).
• Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Must be able to step up, over and into the seat
• Riders must sit in an upright position and control seated posture.
• Forces from all sides including the potential for bumping.
• Don’t swerve or bump the other cars
• Riders must keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times.
• The driver must maintain focus on the track ahead of them.
• Do not look behind.

Sea Dragon

Ride Intensity Rating: Thrill

Description: Sail the 7-seas with this popular thrill ride! This ride was added in the late 1980’s and has been a guest favorite ever since!

Safety Requirements:

• Must be 48-inches or taller to ride
• The safety bar must engage to ride.
• All headgear must be removed.

Do not Ride if You have any of the Following:

• Back, neck or heart conditions.
• You are pregnant.
• You’ve had recent surgery.
• Afraid of heights.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the entrance.
• Wheelchairs will not fit entirely through the queue line. It is unsafe to enter through the exit.
• Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Must be able step up and into the seat.
• Riders must sit in an upright position and control seated posture.
• This ride has front to back forces.
• Riders must keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times.
• Exit is located on the opposite side of the entrance.
• A wheelchair can be brought to the exit but you must inform the operator first.

Sock It To ‘Em Bumper Cars

Ride intensity rating: Medium

Description: Combine your driving skills with the stress-relieving activity of bumping into someone.

Safety Requirements:

• Must be 48″ or taller to ride alone.
• 38″ Can Ride with Adult.

Tempest in the Tea Cup

Ride Intensity Rating: Mild

Description: Come join us for a cup of tea, but make sure you don’t spill any as you are spinning around in our precious tea cups!

Safety Requirements:

• 42-inches tall to ride.
• 38-inches tall to ride with a guest over 42-inches.

• You are pregnant.
• You’ve had recent surgery.

Ride Information:

Thunder Falls Log Flume

Ride Intensity Rating: Thrill

Description: Take a ride down New England’s longest and tallest log flume ride! This attraction was added in 1984 and still holds that title till this day!

Safety Requirements:

• Must be 48-inches or taller to ride alone
• A 38-inch guest can ride with an adult who is over 48-inches tall
• 2 guests per seat/4 guests per boat or 3 guests in a seat that fit comfortably
• NO SINGLE RIDERS

Do not Ride if You have any of the Following:

• Back, neck or heart conditions
• You are pregnant
• You’ve had recent surgery
• Afraid of heights.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit
  Notify the operator if you will need extra time for loading/unloading.
• Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Riders must be able to navigate a gap and then step down into the boat.
• Riders must be able to sit in an upright position and control seated posture.
• Riders must keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times.
• Do not rock the boats.
• This ride has water cannons that other guests can use to get you wet.
• You will get wet on this ride.
• Emergency exiting will require navigating stairs.
• This ride has top to bottom and side to side forces.

Thunderbolt

Ride Intensity Rating: Moderate

Description: This ride is one of our fan favorites! This ride cycle goes forward, stops for a moment, and then goes backwards again! This ride also plays popular radio songs during the ride cycle as well!

Safety Requirements:

• 42-inches tall to ride alone.
• 38-inches tall to ride with a guest over 42-inches tall.
• The larger guest must sit on the outside.

Do not Ride if You have any of the Following:

• Back, neck or heart conditions.
• You are pregnant.
• You’ve had recent surgery.

Ride Information:

• Wheelchair access is through the exit.Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Must be able to step up and into the seat.
• Riders must sit in an upright position and control seated posture.
• Riders must keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times.
• This ride has front to back and side to side forces.
• Car may rock aggressively during the cycle.
• Do not ride if you are prone to motion sickness.
• This ride plays loud music.
• Ride will have a forward cycle/stop/ and then a reverse cycle.
• For guests that need assistance with unloading, the operator can jog around the ride to the exit after all other guests have exited. Please notify the operator if this is needed.

Tilt-A-Whirl

Ride Intensity Rating: Moderate

Description: Take a ‘whirl’ on this ride! The Tilt-A-Whirl will make your head spin as you whirl around on this ride!

Safety Requirements:

• 46-inches tall to ride alone.
• 38-inches tall to ride with a guest over 46-inches tall.
• NO SINGLE RIDERS

• You’ve had recent surgery.

Ride Information:

• Entrance and exit are via a small flight of stairs. Companion assistance may be needed for loading and unloading.
• Smaller guests sit between larger guests.

• Riders must keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times.
• This ride has side to side forces.
• This ride spins aggressively.
• Do not ride if you are prone to motion sickness.

Wild Mouse Roller Coaster

Ride Intensity Rating: Thrill

Description: Maine’s largest family-steel coaster, the Wild Mouse will take you on a circurious trip with hairpin turns (including one that is a crazy 270-degrees!) as well as some steep hills and dips!

Safety Requirements:

• 52-inches tall to ride alone.
• 46-inches tall to ride with a guest above 52-inches tall.
• Guests must be below 75-inches to ride.
• Must be able to fit with the lap bar clicking at least 2 times.
• Must be able to fit in the seatbelt.
• A smaller rider sitting with a large rider is required to use the lap bar pad extension.
• The operator will make the determination and provide the pad if needed.

Ride Information:

• Entrance is a narrow ramp system that will not fit a wheelchair.

• This ride has front to back and side to side forces.
• This is a very aggressive ride with abrupt braking.
